Originally Piero opened the bar in 1988 as a wine bar creating a new concept in Thatcham.  With its vibrant atmosphere and varied drinks menu it was a breathe of fresh air for the local community.

We were renown for home made Italian food cooked to perfection by his mum Santina which is still talked about now!  Dad Jimmy was always in the bar so a couple of years later he came on full time as a partner.

Currently the air conditioned bar operates as a locals venue with a late night licence.  Showing live sport on our ultra high definition screens with great picture and sound quality.

There is a dart board, up to date jukebox and pool table which is on FREE play Wednesday and Thursdays.

Recently refurbished to a high standard with a simplistic approach we now offer up to date plasma screens a modern looking bar, comfy seating and restrooms facilities.

We offer a varied selection of spirits, soft drinks, quality extra cold beers and ciders including the best pint of Guinness in the area.
